Our 2026 Tesoro HS Boys Basketball Fundraiser is off to an amazing start. Here's how parents can help their players push us across the finish line in a few minutes.
Why parents make the difference
The players with a parent helping on their page have raised about 3x more than players working on their own. Four of our top six fundraisers so far have a parent involved.
The boys were only able to enter email addresses. But texts get opened and tapped far more often than emails, and a text is the easiest way for someone to click and donate. That's where you come in.
2 Simple Steps
Find the email or text from your son
Your son sent you a message through the fundraiser. It looks like this:
Dear Mom, I have selected you as a family member who can help me reach my participation goal...
Family Share URL: https://ets.rocks/xxxxxx
That Family Share URL is your family's personal link. Every donation made through it counts toward your son's total and the team goal.
Pick one (or both!) of these options
Option A: Share the link yourself
Copy your Family Share URL and send it with your own message:
- Text it to family, friends, coworkers and neighbors
- Post it on Facebook, Instagram or in a group chat
A personal note from you works best. Feel free to use this one:
Option B: Add contacts and cell phones
Click your Family Share URL. It opens a page that says "Welcome!" and shows the contacts your son already entered. From here you can:
- Add cell phones to his existing contacts. Click the red pencil next to anyone missing a phone number and add it.
- Add new people. Click "Add Supporter" and enter a name, email, relationship and cell phone.
- Import your contacts from Google, Microsoft or Yahoo in one click.
Then click Next to finish.
Common Questions
What happens after I add someone?
They receive up to 5 emails over 45 days about the fundraiser. As soon as they donate, the messages stop and they get a thank-you right away, plus a personal thank-you from your son 3 days later.
Will people get spammed if they're added twice?
No. Duplicate emails are filtered out automatically, so don't worry if you and your son both add the same person.
Can people opt out?
Yes. Anyone can opt out of the messages at any time.
My son already added 20 emails. Is there still something for me to do?
Yes! Adding cell phone numbers to the contacts he already entered is one of the most helpful things you can do. Texts get far more clicks than emails.
Where does the money go?
Everything raised supports Tesoro Boys Basketball for the season.
